I'm leaving on a jet plane, don't know when I'll be back again!

So today I booked a week in Phoenix Arizona this September. I'm not usually so "fly by the seat of my pants", but I just feel like it's time that I just see what's out there. I don't have to stay where I am, but maybe after I explore, I might find I like home better...or I might find I like somewhere else better.

I dunno...it's a start. I might find a new place to call home, or atleast become more content with where I am now.

The Beginning

It had begun. The feeling of change rippled through his body. Old synapses were destroyed, new ones created in their place. His spine, no longer buckled by the pressure, straightened out as a new auhora of self confidence radiated from his eyes. The fissures of his damaged heart sealed shut becoming stronger than ever before. Before us stands a changed man. A man like no other. A man with fire in his eyes and the heart of a hero in his chest. Stand back and behold as great things are coming.

And it has begun!

I made up my mind today about a major aspect of my life. I can't yet post as to what it is, but it involves my work life. I feel in my heart that I am making the right decision for myself, and at this stage in my life, that's what matters most to me. Too long have I held back due to fear of the unknown and fear of what my family and friends would say. Today, I embrace that fear. I am intelligent and I cannot fail. Besides, failure makes a better winner.

On another note, some lady almost hit another lady today because she was checking me out. Yes, she was checking me out. Nicole is my witness to this, if you doubt me...ask her.

The countdown has begun!

I gave my two week notice yesterday at work...August 7th will be my last day as a Verizon Wireless employee. This is all part of the change. When life gives you lemons, you've gotta make lemonade!
