So, we've been given an opportunity to rent Laura's sister's house with the option to purchase in the future. There is some house shuffling going on in the near future and we have the chance to end up in a nice little house on a nice chunk of property for not much more than what we are paying now. We haven't come up with many negatives; the longer commute for me, more yard work, and farther from the pistol range. They are almost nothing compared to all the pro's though, so unless something earth shattering changes, we'll be moving into a house at the end of the current lease. That is assuming everything goes as currently planned, but we will see what happens over the next few months. I'd really love to have a small workshop and a dog. :)

So, looks like it is a going to happen. It's not a matter of "If" anymore, but a matter of when. There is a lot work that needs to get done on the remodeling of her parents house before Tracy, Chris and Nathan can move in. At this point in the game, we aren't sure if it will be done by July 1st. So we have to talk to our Landlords and see if we can go month to month for a short period of time. Regardless of what happens, Laura and I will be moving into what will most likely become our first house. I'm, well we, are really excited...it's a great opportunity. Woot!
